'Gesunde Schule' - Healthy school - Food pyramids

The 6th graders from Lanterswil have thought about the food they had in one day. Then, they have drawn it into a food pyramid.
Look at the six sectors of the food pyramid and how their food fits into them.

Do you think that the pupils have healthy eating and drinking habits (Gewohnheiten)?
Could they improve (verbessern) their food habits?
What are your drinking and eating habits?
Could you improve your food and drinking habits?

This is challenge number 5 Märwil versus Lanterswil!

This time, the new 6th graders had to find words about fruits, vegetables and nuts.
Here is the result from Märwil:

The pupils from Märwil have found 34 words.
Here is the result from Lanterswil:

The pupils from Lanterswil have found 29 words.
The winner is Märwil.
Congratulations!
The score is now 3:2 for Märwil.
Of course the 6th graders from Lanterswil fancy a revenge...

Quiz for everyone!

While the 6th graders tried to find words for the Märwil versus Lanterswil challenge, they made a mistake. Can you find the wrong word? This word is not a fruit, a vegetable or a nut.
If you can find it, leave a comment with your name and write the wrong word in German or tell Mrs. Manferdini the solution in your next English lesson!
Good luck!

These are the sports poems of the 5th graders from Märwil

This is the last project of my 5th graders from Märwil. Next year, you are having a new English teacher.
Thank you, 5th graders, for the two years we could work together and hopefully learn a lot of English!

We will see each other again next year in the Märwil vs Lanterswil challenge!
